The main aim of the project was to create a strong network to support and reinforce the concept of social entrepreneurship fostering a sustainable and inclusive growth as described in the Europe 2020 Strategy.

The objectives of the training course were:

  3. To offer a basic training on how to develop, validate and implement social enterprises.
  4. To create a sustainable network of partners who will exchange experience and expertise in order to spread, support, reinforce and advocate for the concept of social entrepreneurship as a mean of sustainable development
  5. To foster closer co-operation and better understanding, encouraging the development of new projects under the Erasmus+ Programme, as well to support establishment of new partnerships, especially with South-Mediterranean countries.

In designing which activities to implement the organizers took into consideration to start from creating a friendly working environment, help participants to get to know each others, make them aware that learning is an active process and they are responsible for their own learning process in a non-formal environment, gel the group by team building activities, encourage participants to reflect and evaluate the development of the project, offer support to expand their creative skills and aptitudes, strengthen intercultural communication by working in mixed-international teams, get a better insight about social entrepreneurship, activate their desire to act as social change makers, develop their entrepreneurial skills, and encourage international cooperation.

The diversity of the activities boosted participants’ creative skills for organizing non-formal activities for youth. The project methodology was designed to empower participants with creative thinking and entrepreneurial skills for developing new projects and initiatives that can make a remarkable contribution in decreasing the number of demotivated youngsters and young people in their communities.
