Due to the pandemic caused by COVID-19, the transnational meeting planned to be in Bulgaria was not possible to be organized. Therefore, all project partners of the Erasmus+ KA205 “Fostering Youth Initiatives Through Social Enterprise Education” project organized an online meeting on the 9th June 2020.

The meeting was attended by:

  • Amelia Fiorillo from Itaka Training, Italy
  • Anna Lalkovska from BASD, Bulgaria
  • María Fernández Reyes and Ana María Fortes from Inercia Digital, Spain
  • Linas Staršelskis, from Efektas Group, Lithuania
  • Daniele Trevisan, from Efektas Group, Lithuania
  • Mostafa Abbas from WASLA, Germany

The topics discussed during this meeting were:

Training in Berlin

Each partner shared their feedback on the training in Berlin, in particular what they liked the most about the event, if it was useful and if there is anything that could be improved. It turned out everybody enjoyed the event, it was useful to learn about social entrepreneurship but also to create networks; the visits were one of the most positive aspects of the event.

The presentations from the training are now available online at www.fyiproject.eu/moodle. It’s not necessary to have an account; anybody can access the contents via Guest Access. The presentations have been adapted using the same template for all of them, which will be shared with partners. The course will be soon enriched with extra activities such as questionnaires for learners to test their knowledge and understanding of the topics. Partners are welcome to share their feedback on the platform and the contents.

Local activities: partners have been slowed down by the Corona virus crisis, although some partners have managed or are looking into organising some activities online.

C2 activity in Spain: It’s scheduled for 5th -9th October, but due to the uncertainty surrounding travel across Europe, it was decided to wait until the end of July to take a common decision about the possibility of organizing this meeting. Regarding the contents of the activity, it’s been suggested to focus on topics that have become really relevant in the past few months, such as distant working and digital training.

Dissemination: Each partner should contribute to keeping the Facebook page active by posting relevant information about the project such as for example: evidence of local activities or articles of interest related to social entrepreneurship and young people. It’s been suggested that it would be interesting to learn about what is happening at the moment in each partner country with regards to how entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs are currently copying with the Coronavirus situation and what initiatives they are taking.
